1. Most of the books of the Bible contain end-time prophecy.

2. The Gospel of the LORD Jesus Christ, in terms of the big picture, is about salvation through the resurrection, the kingdom of God and preparation for it.3. God tells us that whoever seeks Him will find Him. Jesus says that whoever is found waiting for Him will be blessed (Proverbs 8:17, Luke 12:35-48).4. The resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead is the foundation of our belief as Christians (1 Corinthians 15). Our resurrection is our hope (Acts 23:6). Our resurrection is our salvation and it will come through Jesus Christ
(1 Thessalonians 1:9-10).5. We are told by Jesus to watch (Mark 13:37)! How do we know what to watch for if we do not search the scriptures? The disciples asked Jesus what the signs of His coming are (Luke 21:7). Jesus told them what the signs are and warned them to be careful or that day will close on them unexpectedly like a trap (Luke 21:34).6. God repeatedly warns us of the impending disaster that is coming on the last day. It, based on the love of Jesus Christ, should be the prime motivator of our evangelism of those who have no hope in the resurrection through Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:16-19).7. Scripture tells us that he who stands firm to the end will be saved (Matthew 24:13). It also tells us that the goal of our faith is the salvation of our souls
(1 Peter 1:9). This is the coming salvation we are waiting for (Hebrews 9:28).

8. The scriptures tell us that we will be rescued from the coming wrath, it doesn't say we are evacuated ahead of time (pre-tribulation view). There are fundamental differences between the words rescue and evacuate. Rescue denotes our being saved from something we can not save ourselves from by someone else. To be evacuated would suggest a removal under our own steam after having been informed of impending disaster (1 Thessalonians 1:10).
