THE BIBLE PROPHESIES THE DISENGAGEMENT!

By Randy Loudenslager

For all of those inquiring minds who want to know what the Bible says about the Disengagement plan of Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, I have quite a treat for you!

Here is the red letter version!

Take your Bibles and turn to the Prophet Micah, Chapter 2:

2:1 Woe to those who plan iniquity, to those who plot evil on their beds! At morning's light they carry it out because it is in their power to do it.
Not only has Ariel Sharon conjured up the evil plot to take away Israel's inheritance from God's people and give it away to Israel's enemies, but he also has the power to do it!

2:2
They covet fields and seize them, and houses, and take them. They defraud a man of his home, a fellowman of his inheritance.
This is God's nutshell version of Sharon's Disengagement Plan.

2:3
Therefore, the LORD says: "I am planning disaster against this people, from which you cannot save yourselves. You will no longer walk proudly, for it will be a time of calamity.
This is what God says He will do when the plan is carried out.

2:4
In that day men will ridicule you; they will taunt you with this mournful song: `We are utterly ruined; my people's possession is divided up. He takes it from me! He assigns our fields to traitors.'"
Can we hear the Palestinians shouting their victory over Israel when they take Gaza away from her?

2:5
Therefore you will have no one in the assembly of the LORD to divide the land by lot.
The Road Map to Peace, the Disengagement being the fast track to its implementation, will be Israel's rebellion against God's covenant with Abraham. By the time God is done with Israel she will not have enough men to assemble and assign land to!

2:6
"Do not prophesy," their prophets say. "Do not prophesy about these things; disgrace will not overtake us."
2:7 Should it be said, O house of Jacob: "Is the Spirit of the LORD angry? Does he do such things?" "Do not my words do good to him whose ways are upright?
Hmmm, the isolation of the Jewish religious right and the firing of its political ministers, the vilifying of rabbis in the press and the taking of predominantly religious Jews homes and land. All this in the name of peace and security, after all isn't God love, why would He punish Israel for helping the Palestinians!?!?!

2:8
Lately my people have risen up like an enemy. You strip off the rich robe from those who pass by without a care, like men returning from battle.
Recent polls show that the majority of the Israeli population is now supportive of the Disengagement.

2:9
You drive the women of my people from their pleasant homes. You take away my blessing from their children forever.
These people do not want to leave! They love their homes, land, people and nation, in short, they love their inheritance.

2:10
Get up, go away! For this is not your resting place, because it is defiled, it is ruined, beyond all remedy.
God will kick Israel out of her inheritance. She will defile, that is despise, her inheritance. When the Palestinians declare a state on Israel's inheritance, with Israel's approval, she will begin her count down to desolation. It will be unlike anything the world has ever known.

2:11
If a liar and deceiver comes and says, `I will prophesy for you plenty of wine and beer,' he would be just the prophet for this people!
I think this speaks for itself.

2:12
"I will surely gather all of you, O Jacob; I will surely bring together the remnant of Israel. I will bring them together like sheep in a pen, like a flock in its pasture; the place will throng with people.
2:13 One who breaks open the way will go up before them; they will break through the gate and go out. Their king will pass through before them, the LORD at their head."
For those Jews who stay true to the LORD ( the remnant) this will be their hope, though they will have to pass through the flames of God's wrath. By the way, when Paul says in Romans 11:26 that all Israel will be saved he is referring to the remnant that is left on the last day, as defined by this verse in Micah.

One further note from Lamentations 5:2:
Our inheritance has been turned over to aliens, our homes to foreigners.

The bottom line folks is that this is going to happen, doubt at your own peril!
