Saddam has been caught, the economy is looking great, Iran and Syria appear to be caving in to international pressure and Israel is ready to dismantle her settlements. The desperation and anxiety of the U.S., set off by 9-11, has almost evaporated. The government is doing a great job getting the bad guys and as we prepare for the Christmas season and ponder the coming new year we find ourselves fat, prosperous and under the delusion that we are happy.
Saddam has stolen the headlines. Yes, the coward was caught in a hole and all appears well here at home, but is it? Now that our fears seem to be abated shall we go back to worshiping creation (God's and man's)? We are a stiff-necked and double-minded people!
We as a nation are quite taken by our president. Who could blame us? Europe? The great continent of sophists seems to be less sophisticated as they change yet again their ever changing tune. Can the Democrats find a chink in Dubya's armor? They have been soundly defeated at every turn. On nearly every issue (right or not) Dubya not only escapes but actually looks better for it. Take the economy. The Democrats thought they had a sound way to defeat Bush, but lo and behold what happens? The best economy in twenty years! They tried the war in Iraq, but who will stand against the capture of Saddam by our beloved troops? Bush is pulling off near miracles, the USA is surely blessed. But can Christians shout for joy over this man in the White House who claims to be one of us?
Check your conscience before you vote. Dubya has two things standing in the way of being a great man in the eyes of God. He considers the god of Islam (Allah) to be the same as the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. And, he wants to divide the land of the covenant he claims to be joined to between the rightful inhabitants, Israel, and her enemies, the Palestinians.
Do we understand the severity of these issues? Compared to them the economy and Iraq are not worth considering as relevant. Allah is a pagan god, a ruthless god and a god of war! He is not the patient loving God that made an everlasting covenant with Abraham. He is a counterfeit of the one true God, he is the spirit of the antichrist. President Bush may only be playing politics when he says Allah and God Almighty are the same, but by doing so he is making a pagan god a legitimate god for the average American household. He is deceiving our children with such words even as he ignores the vehement protests of many Christians.
The danger for the U.S. and ultimately the world is that while Allah becomes synonymous with the Judeo/Christian God we are telling Israel that her covenant with the real God is not a legitimate argument for keeping what God declared was hers in the first place!
Israel's claim to the land is to be everlasting, it is not negotiable! And yet the average American, the average CHRISTIAN just yawns in response to Israel's near suicidal plans to dismantle her settlements and walk away from her inheritance! God help us, we are so delusional and blind! We ignore what You love and chase after an economy You will destroy should we act against the covenant. We worship false gods with our lips while our hearts are far from You. We are not humble and we do not repent, have mercy O' Sovereign LORD! We so easily forget that if we seek the kingdom You will supply our need. We forget that the seat of that kingdom to come will be in Jerusalem. Will You destroy us if 50 good men could be found among us?

is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only
a few find it." Matthew 7:14.
