Welcome to the WATCH! newsletter. This is the first edition since our change from publishing biweekly to weekly. Thanks for the continued feedback and interaction. You have kept me busy and I love it! I relish digging into the Scriptures to seek God's will and God energizes me as I minister his word to the lambs. I always look forward to being fed by others as well and this week has been no exception. Your prayers have been powerful and effective as God confirms his anointing over this ministry - THANK YOU so very much for your prayers!

Who is God in,
"God Bless America?"
If you didn't know the
answer to this question you might have guessed it to be the flag
of the United States. As often as I have seen the flag with this
motto I have wondered just what god we are referring to here.
If we summed up the references to God by the media, the President,
and many "spiritual" leaders, the answer would make
the U.S. a polytheistic nation. We have become one nation under
many gods. This was not always the case in this country.
For the first time in our nations mostly Christian history there
has been an Islamic prayer offered at the White House. Many say
America is turning back to it's spiritual roots during these times
but it seems we are turning to the side rather than back. Anyone
who is old enough to remember what "back" was like 50-60
years ago (I'm not one, but I love history and talking to older
folks!) would tell you that today doesn't even come close to what
"back then" was like. In those days it was clearly understood
who God was, even if you weren't a believer in Jesus Christ. God
was the Judeo-Christian God and this is the God who answered the
prayerful repentance of a nation that turned to him often. Today
as we turn to the left instead of back and focus on me instead
of him, god has become: My god is the god for me and your god
is the god for you. Plug in any belief, as long as it is tolerant
of other's beliefs. Americans are converting to Islam at a record
pace. Believe it or not, the stampede to Islam started on September
11th! We have entered a time when an adulterous, lying, advocate
of baby killing, former president can actually take the stage
at a major university and tell the world that God, or is it god,
is punishing America because of what we did to the slaves and
Indians! See
to it that no one takes you captive through hollow deceptive philosophy,
which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this
world rather than on Christ. Colossians 2:8.
A man who became endeared to most Christians at President Bush's inaugural, Franklin Graham, is now apparently on the outs from the inner sanctums of the Oval office. Why? He dared to speak the truth in the middle of the Bush administration's major propaganda blitz to kiss-up to so-called moderate adherents of Islam. Remember most "moderate" Muslims consider Jews and Christians as infidels and still want the complete annihilation of Israel! Want to know more? Franklin said that Islam is evil! Wait, it gets better, he won't apologize! No one gives more to Muslims than his organization, Samaritans Purse. Here is a leader with a loving heart and a rock solid spiritual backbone - pray for this man, Oh LORD, we need more like him! This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every Spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world. 1 John 4:2-3.
Here is a new low! Can't deal
with the truth from a major prophet of the Old Testament? Just
wait a few thousand years after he is dead and then tell the world
that the man suffered epilepsy. Remember that you have never known
him and have no information about him apart from what is written
in the Bible. Tell the world that based on a careful reading of
the book of Ezekiel, he had "all the classic signs of the
condition." So! Now we finally know that when God comes upon
a man in the power of his Holy Spirit, what is really happening
is an epileptic fit. Thank you Dr. Eric Altschuler and the Society
for Neuroscience, you have made the truth of God shine brighter
by your darkness! They
exchanged the truth of God for a lie . . . Romans 1:25. Yet these
men speak abusively against whatever they do not understand; and
what things they do understand by instinct, like unreasoning animals
- these are the very things that destroy them. Jude 1:10.

The band wagon calling for a Palestinian
state has grown louder and is adding new members. This is the
politics of the last-days and the antichrist; intrigue and coalition
building, cutting deals and commerce building, military conquest
and wrath. Europe, long a Palestinian state advocate, has suddenly
grown silent on it's middle east peace initiative. In fact, they
claim they don't have one. Russia is now our best friend and it
is perfectly fine that Russia sells nuclear reactors to Iran in
violation of signed agreements between Russia and the U.S. The
name Palestine has entered our vocabulary, and not as a remote
historical lesson about a barren land somewhere over there and
long ago. And now we have prayers in the White House to some foreign
god named Allah. What triggered this major reversal on so many
fronts? The change was triggered by the Bush administration's
reversal on our policy towards Israel. As soon as President Bush
started to subtly introduce the idea of a Palestinian state to
the American people, the coalition began to form. This coalition
is no longer an anti-terrorist coalition, no - it is much larger,
more powerful and deeper rooted than anyone can imagine. What
fuels this fire is a seething hate of Israel by many peoples.
I would say all peoples, but America has stood in the way. Is
our chief prince the one that is to be taken out of the way of
the antichrist? For the secret
power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds
it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way.
2 Thessalonians 2:7. "The prince of the Persian kingdom resisted
me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came
to help me . . . Soon I will return to fight against the prince
of Persia, and when I go the prince of Greece will come; (No one
supports me against them except Michael, your prince. . .) Daniel
10:13-21. We will soon find out,
our people are not hostile towards Israel, but we have grown fearful
of the hostility that comes from association with Israel. Unlike
the America of World War II, an America that faced the wrath of
not one but two world powers and their alliances, we have now
grown fearful of losing even one soldier to combat. We should
value every life, but we don't. We don't want to lose one soldier,
but we are indifferent to lives lost to our armed forces
or elsewhere, such as by terrorist hands against Israel. We are
a nation who fears death because we don't fear God! Could we say
such a thing about our nation as it fought the Axis powers over
fifty years ago?
The only requirement imposed on Yassar Arafat in order for him
to get his way is to stop the violence. Europe has instructed
it, Powell has urged it, but has anyone heard little Israel demand
the halt of bloodshed? The call upon Arafat from the "international
community" to stop the violence is not for Israel's benefit.
There has to be an air of legitimacy for the rule of law to prevail,
after all it is legal for the United States to attack Serbia or
the Taliban. Anyone with enough clout can build a coalition of
nations to agree with you, just be prepared to make deals and
pay up. To attack the Taliban in itself is not wrong. If we have
proof we must defend ourselves, but it, like Kosovo, sets a dangerous
precedent. Do it our way or get pummeled. .
. . they covered their ears and, yelling at the top of their voices,
they all rushed at him, dragged him out of the city and began
to stone him. Meanwhile, the witnesses
laid their clothes at the feet

Who is Mr. Powell or the Bush Administration to tell Israel that
she must pull out of "occupied" territories that God
gave her? Why would we even suggest to these people that Jerusalem,
the West Bank and Gaza aren't theirs to keep? (See Numbers 34:1-12 for the boundaries God gave)
Even If God had not given them
these lands as her inheritance, did she not earn them as war reparations
when she was so wickedly attacked? Poor Israel, all she wants
is peace. Must we be the ones who force her into the desolation
and punishment decreed by God? In effect we will have inflicted
a serious blow to the apple of God's eye by forcing her to give
up land for her coveted peace.

My love for the Russian people and desire for their salvation aside for a moment, have you ever wondered how some of the peoples mentioned in Ezekiel (Ezekiel 38) would ever team up on the fields for Armageddon? For example, you have Gomer which is the Germanic peoples that encompass most of Europe and Meshech which is an ancient term for the region that encompasses Moscow and Tubal which includes North Central, Central and South Central Asia. The North Central Asian city of Tobalsk is named for these descendants of Japheth, Noah's son. We have had two global wars and many European and Asian wars started among these peoples, how could they possibly get along? Common purpose is a powerful force. The common purposes of power and wealth have unified empires. The antichrist will unify his empire by rewarding those who acknowledge him. He will give them lands and wealth and titles (Daniel 11:24). Presently, Prime Minister of Great Britain Tony Blair has been very outspoken about a global drive in creating the long awaited Utopia envisioned by the Globalists. This new world order must encompass the most powerful nations on earth. Small nations will have no choice but to join. The Germans and Russians appear to be strange bed-fellows, especially in the eyes of those who study history. Throughout the ages these peoples have warred with each other. Truces and alliances were easily broken. Even the church split between them, with the Eastern Orthodox Church being the dominant church in Russia and the Catholic and Protestant churches in Germany and the West. So it should be taken as no small matter that the heaviest financial investor by far in Russia, from the West, is the undisputed European Union power broker and economic giant, Germany. Now Mr. Blair is calling for NATO to include Russia into the alliance. The world is unifying and not just along the line of economics. Mr. Putin, the Russian President, has said that he wants not only to be included, but wants the military focus of NATO changed to be more of a political decision making body. There have been no public statements from the White House on the Russian/NATO question, and what is more is the cozy relationship between Mr. Putin and Mr. Bush. Has anyone seen any of the long term negotiations normally associated with the drastic reduction of nuclear weapons, such as those cuts promised by both leaders? Don't blink as we watch the world political map change before our very eyes - a map that an anti-Christ is sure to love.

This is a choice that Christian Americans may have to make in the near future. He who does what is right is righteous . . . 1 John 3:7. You may remember as reported in the WATCH! a model law is being considered by all fifty state governors and in a few cases passed by some state legislatures, that would give sweeping powers over your body, such as the right to place you under quarantine against your will and force you to take medicines. In the event of a smallpox plague in the U.S. you may be required to receive a vaccination against the disease with the serum manufactured from the stem-cells of an aborted fetus. I welcome all questions. Here are some basic guidelines. The
Holy Bible is the only truth that God has given
us to reference. It is the standard all else is compared to. Jesus
Christ is the Word of God and is the only way unto salvation.
We would never want to be quoted outside of the context we are
speaking in and so we must endeavor to never do this to the Word
of God. God's word is the final word on any subject, regardless
of what we have been taught or believe.
The seeking Christian is to be as noble as the Bereans by reading
the adjacent context of any scripture given in their Bibles
to see if what is said is true. I have opted not to give an exhaustive
explanation of any answer here. Please do not assume that you
have received the whole of my findings on these pages. The ultimate
responsibility is upon the reader. If you find me in error then
please love me in the love of Christ by letting me know. Please
be prepared to support your position - as I am also prepared to
be a Berean - and that is all I'm asking of you.
Some say there will be a great harvest near the end, others say there will be a great revival and others say both will happen. What have you read about it in the Bible?
My answer may come as a disappointment to some of you. I have found no scripture - in proper context - that speaks of a specific event like a great end-time harvest. Likewise the same is true for an end-time revival. We must be diligent in our respect for the big picture when we ferret out details. The big picture is not what you have been taught or the doctrine of your church or denomination. The big picture is God's plan that is revealed from cover to cover in the Holy Bible. I am aware of the scriptures used to justify such a belief, but again I say that they exist within contexts that do not support this doctrine. The big picture view of revival and great harvest is given by the LORD Jesus this way: "From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful men lay hold of it." Matthew 11:12. "The harvest is plentiful but the workers few. Ask the LORD of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." Matthew 9:37-38. The LORD Jesus depicted the big picture as one of a constant movement, not a series of revivals through history. Harvest and revival go hand in hand. "Great Awakenings" have been the history of the LORD's church. Revival starts in repentance and is repentance and it is in the soil of repentance that true fruit of the Spirit grows. Instead of chasing great awakenings we should join the one in progress by realizing that the Great Awakening started in "the days of John the Baptist," and won't be finished until the resurrection. You heard the king, "Ask the LORD of the harvest . . . to send out workers into his harvest fields." And then be about our Father's business.
Let's take a look at a verse people often refer to about their belief in end-time revival and harvest. I know that there are others, but this is the one I hear most often referred to and so I will use it as an example.
And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. Joel 2:28. Yes, this is the scripture quoted by Peter in Acts 2:16-21. The day of Pentecost is the scene where he quoted it. We must remember that there was only a partial fulfillment of this scripture then. The context of Joel's prophecy also speaks of the end. Just as we have seen that this prophecy was partially fulfilled after the first coming of Jesus Christ, so it will be completely fulfilled after his second coming. The events after the first coming aside for a moment, the context from which this verse is taken depicts the events of two last days time periods. Period 1: If you start reading the context in verses 2:20-29 and verses 2:32-3:8 you will have had the second coming of Christ and the beginning of his thousand year reign depicted for you. These events do not apply to the first coming prophecy. Verse 28, clearly states it's own context as "afterward," that is, after the northern army has been driven to destruction (verse 20) and after the LORD establishes the abundance of Israel like Eden (verses 21-26). And after it is established that Israel will never be shamed again (verses 26-27). Period 2: This period refers to the days before Jesus' second coming which are depicted in verses 30-31. Chapter 3:19-21 gives a summary of the context of these two periods in their proper order. Ezekiel 36:24-36, 39:25-29 will provide confirmation about the context and sequence of events that lead up to the outpouring of the Spirit.
The pouring out of God's Spirit is the guideline used by people for revival, but context shows this to be after Jesus comes again. He has already poured out his Spirit on his servants and will upon Israel and all peoples when he comes again. As for the great harvest, most references are made to Matthew 24:14, but the context doesn't show a massive conversion of people, but is depicted more as a grand finale given by an angel in Revelation 14:6.
