Your email: I just had a comment on the
rapture of the church. I believe that Jesus Christ will rapture
the church before the tribulation period.I have read alot and
the Holy spirit has always brought this thought to mind.He
has always brought a means of rescue for the believer
like Noah, Lot, for example.and for the worst wrath ever to come
upon the world it's hard to believe he would allow his son's
and daughter's to endure this.but everyone has a point of view
on this subject.Thank you for taking the time to read my E-mail.and
the main point for believer's is Jesus died for us and on the
third day he rose from the grave with victory!! if we are born
again christian's we will live with him forever Glory to god
for giving us this precious gift!!Thanks again .............

My answer: Hi T., You wrote: I just had a comment on the rapture of the church. I believe that Jesus Christ will rapture the church before the tribulation period.I have read alot and the Holy spirit has always brought this thought to mind. My response: What you believe and what you think the Holy Spirit brings to mind may be or not all well and good, but what does God say through his Word? If what you believe and think are not in agreement with the Bible, in its proper context, then they are not of God. Jesus told us he would raise us up on the last day (4 times in John chapter 6). The last day is also known as the end of the age. The end of the age is the last day of the tribulation period. Therefore the resurrection is at the end of the tribulation. You wrote: He has always brought a means of rescue for the believer like Noah, Lot, for example. My response: Your use of the word 'rescue' is correct. God did not evacuate Noah from a pending flood, He rescued him at the last minute. God did not evacuate Lot way ahead of Sodom's destruction, He hurried them out and only when they were a safe distance did judgment fall. God will not evacuate Christians seven years ahead of his wrath upon the earth, He will rescue us from his wrath on the last day! You wrote: and for the worst wrath ever to come upon the world it's hard to believe he would allow his son's and daughter's to endure this. My response: I agree. They won't have to endure it. The end-times or tribulation will be marked by curses that will come via angels, both dark and light, as allowed by God. Some of these will indeed be horrible, but they are not the wrath of God He will personally deliver when he comes on the clouds in great power and glory. God's wrath is reserved for the last day and will be used to violently overthrow the kingdom of this world, Satan's kingdom, and establish the kingdom of God on earth. It is from this wrath that we will be rescued. Believers will have to endure the time of testing. God will not allow the curses to touch those who are his, but he will not stop Satan from waging war against the Jews and believers (Revelation 12:17). Just as God allowed the horrific persecution of the church by the Romans so He will allow it by the world government of the antichrist. Some will be captured and others killed, but "he who stands firm to the end will be saved (Matthew 24:12-13)." Many people do not understand the tribulation period because they have relied on false teachings rather than seeking God's truth for themselves in the Bible. They do not understand that the tribulation is actually called the desolation by Jesus and Daniel (Matthew 24:15). They do not understand that the desolation will be 3.5 years (Daniel 9:26-27) and not 7 years as erroneously taught. They do not understand that Israel will not experience a great revival, but instead will rebel against the covenant and so be punished with desolation (Luke 21:21-24). You wrote: but everyone has a point of view on this subject. My response: Yes they do, but few are biblical. I know that it sounds like I believe I have the correct view. I will not defend myself, I do not have all of the answers. But what I read in black and white in the Bible is what I put forth, it is not a point of view or a few scriptures mixed with speculation, it is biblical fact. Have you taken a look at the reference charts I have provided on my web site? I have provided hundreds of verses as proof of these things I say, but don't believe me - check for yourself (Acts 17:11). Outline of events ~ Sequence of events in the outline ~ How to read the charts tutorial (they are extensive) ~ Reference Charts. You wrote: Thank you for taking the time to read my E-mail My response: It has been my pleasure to serve you. You wrote: and the main point for believer's is Jesus died for us and on the third day he rose from the grave with victory!! if we are born again christian's we will live with him forever Glory to god for giving us this precious gift!! My response: That is only part of the main point. Dying and rising again are indeed Jesus victory over death, but they are not our victory if we do not remain faithful even unto death as Jesus did. The purpose of my ministry is to warn and teach believers that they can be deceived and that Jesus told us that many will turn away from the faith (Matthew 24:9-13 & 24)! We have received the Holy Spirit as a deposit on our salvation (1 Corinthians 5:5), but that does not mean we are saved. The resurrection is our salvation, it is then that we receive eternal life. Isn't that the promise of the gospel? That whoever believes in the son will receive everlasting life (John 3:16)? We are covered by the blood only as long as we stay under its covering. Living in the flesh leads to death but life in the Spirit leads to eternal life (Romans 8:5-8). Jesus told everyone to watch for his coming (Mark 13:37) and he told us what to watch for and he told us these things ahead of time (Mark 13:23) so that we will not allow Satan to step in and steal our crown of righteousness (Revelation 3:11) in the time of testing. The time of testing will come upon all who live on the face of the earth - believer and unbeliever alike (Luke 21:35-36). If we are not watching that day will spring on us like a trap (Luke 21:34), but if we are alert and watching we will not be surprised like a thief in the night (1 Thessalonians 5:4) and we will meet that day with great rejoicing!!!! If we only have hope in Christ for this life we are to be pitied among all men (1 Corinthians 15:19). The gospel is about God supplying the way of reconciliation so that we may enter his gates, the gates of the kingdom to come, with singing and praise. The vast majority of all that is written in scripture points to the final day of this age and the kingdom to come. Should we ignore it in our smugness that we already have a ticket in? God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble (James 4:6). If we believe we are standing firm then we should be careful lest we fall. This ministry is dedicated to helping people not fall as the greatest testing in history is about to occur. I pray that I have served you well, Randy |
