Hi again Randy! I hope you don’t mind too much that I keep bugging you! I am amazed how the Father seems to be using you to open my eyes! I wanted to share another vision I had some time ago that impacted me HUGELY and has been a constant reminder of the sacrifice Jesus made for me/all who believe in Him.

I was worshipping in quiet, then as He frequently does, He laid a song on my heart and I began to sing. I became aware of a spiritual struggle going on around me. I began speaking scripture….”Greater in He that is in me than he that is in the world…”, that I was a child of God. As the reality began to hit me that I was indeed a child of God I saw a band of angels celebrating with music, song and dancing. Then Jesus came to me and held me in His arms…Satan snarled at me and tried to bite at me as he faded away. Then a crown of thorns appeared on Jesus’ head and he began to bleed from the crown, His hands and feet as He held me. I was covered in Jesus’ blood. Then warmth and love flooded my heart and a white, feathered pen floated down dipped in Jesus’ blood and it wrote “faithful” on my right hand and “redeemed” on my left hand, and on my forehead it wrote “Child of God”. Then I heard the words “the seal” and I knew I had been sealed by God….I am His child!

It was such an awesome experience…I was completely blown away! However, several weeks later I still didn’t understand exactly what it meant to be “sealed”. Then as I was studying one of your outlines this morning you mentioned two (2) different seals one of which was in Eph. 4:30 re: the seal of the Holy Spirit. Do you suppose this is what I experienced….or something else? I have SO much to learn and He seems to be revealing so much so quickly….sometimes it’s hard to keep up. But I thank the Lord for the people He puts in our lives at strategic moments to help us! If the Lord reveals anything to you regarding any of this, I would appreciate it your response! How can one with a seeking heart for God be anything other than immense blessing upon God's messengers? Ask all you want and I would be overjoyed in giving to you what our Father gives to me!

You are right in your understanding of the seal! Just as the LORD says "Those who seek me find me." The seal is also spoken of in Ephesians 1:13-14. It will operate the same way as the seal placed on the foreheads of the faithful Jews by God's angels.

It is wonderfully strange that I had another inquiry this morning in which I had to explain the seal to help this person's understanding. The following is an excerpt from my reply to that email:

He wrote: There aren't going to be many Christian being raptured (alive) if we have to go through the seals and the trumpets and antichrists reign.

My response: You are right. Scripture tells us that Satan will wage war against the faithful Jews and the true believers in Christ (Revelation 12:17). He will do this through wicked men since he cannot touch us spiritually. Remember that the righteous will not be subjected to the judgments of the seals and trumpets. Like the faithful 144,000 Jews who are sealed by the angels on their foreheads (Revelation 7:1-3), the righteous Christians are sealed by the presence of the Holy Spirit within them (Ephesians 1:13-14, 4:30). Our tribulation comes at the hands of men (Daniel 8:24. 11:32-35)

What I must remind everyone is that seals are only recognized if they are not broken! Jesus said two things to believers in his Word: Remain in me and I will remain in you (John chapter 15, 11 times in 7 verses!) and He who stands firm to the end will be saved (Matthew 10:21-23). We will be subject to intense persecution at the hands of men, but the wicked will be subject to each other AND the judgments of God that will not touch us! Unfortunately the faith of many will falter and they will turn away from Jesus. Since they will deny him and not remain in him he will not remain in them and the seal of the Holy Spirit will be broken which means that they no longer are guaranteed entrance into the kingdom. This comes as heavy news to many and some have actually stated that they can't live under that fear! That fear is the fear of God and the beginning of all wisdom - don't run from, run to it!
