Your question:

Randy,

Since a plethora of people want to argue in the existence of aliens, time travel, etc. is there any scriptural evidence to suggest that aliens really do exist? Personally, I haven't found any; but I'm no Biblical scholar, so I wouldn't even begin to say with 100% surety that the BIble argues for or against possible living life forms outside of Earth.

My argument against aliens and their possible existence is that God ONLY mentions making us, human-beings, angels, the earth, etc. Nowhere, does God make any allusion to aliens from other galaxies and other planets, at least, not from any basic research that I have done.

Based upon people's alleged experimental accounts with aliens; I think it is highly possible that these so-called fantasy aliens are nothing more than Satan and his demons trying to sway anyone and everyone from God's true Word. If you have ever heard their accounts with these aliens; they always seem to say or imply that God does not really exist, that they are from another dimension of space-time, finally, that they themselves are of a higher race of beings, whose main goal is to help the human race from ultimately destroying itself. All of which, from my own perspective is utter absurdity, in of itself, and not scriptural as God will eventually judge and destroy the present-day Earth and heavens as mentioned in Revelation; the "New Jerusalem" and the "New Earth."

What do you think?

Regarding, possible time travel, I do not know whether or not you're aware of the alleged "Philadelphia Experiment," but supposedly time-travel was made possible through the use of a ship with the pseudonym "U.S.S. Eldridge" back in the 1940's.

According to some accounts, the U.S.S. Eldridge, a U.S. Navy destroyer was rendered invisible through possible implemenation of Einstein's Unified Field Theory that deals with electromagnetism and its affects on space-time dimensions and time travel, itself. Supposedly, the ship became invisible, went back into time, and had dire consequences! Those dire consequences were the Navymen involved in the experiment had literally become one with the ship. Their molecular structure had been broken apart and merged together with the ship's molecules; thereby, making the people literally one with the ship--Personally, i disagree with this so-called time travel experiment because the repurcussions of God allowing time travel to actually take place via human intervention would lead to unsurmountable and basically, dangerous consequences!

I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest possible convenience; hopefully, shedding some light on this rather interesting subject.

Sincerely,

J. S.

My response: There is no evidence in the Bible, whatsoever, that substantiates the existence of aliens. Your argument is sound and proper. The focus of God is upon the people of earth. Earth is the footstool of His throne. In the creation account in the book of Genesis, we see that God created the heavens and the earth. This is literal, as in a real earth and the heavens being the expanse of the universe. After the initial phase of creating earth God set about much like a painter approaches a canvas. A painter applies layers that eventually come together as the final creation, recognizable and deliberate. God did the same thing in the creation. There was only one creation and one creation account. If it isn't in there then it doesn't exist. The earth was the first planet created. As we progress through the creation to the fourth day we see the lights placed in the expanse of the sky. These lights included the stars, Sun and moon. It should be noted that these things, including the stars and any other lights up there, were created for the earth. They marked seasons and provided light, these were their given purposes in Genesis. In other words, the entire universe was created with a focus on earth and not as a conglomerate of solar systems with life sustainable planets and inhabitants.

My response: I couldn't have said it better. People want to see ghosts, so Satan provides them with apparitions. People want to see aliens and so Satan provides spectacles that appear to defy understanding. Of course spirits living in a spiritual 'dimension' are not subject to the same laws of nature that apply to us mortals. The antichrist will come as a savior. He will also claim to be here to save humanity from itself. The antichrist, being the son of Satan, will use all means available to galvanize world support and submission to his throne. He will use counterfeit miracles and even call fire down from heaven, you get the picture.

My response: I have heard of this vaguely and many like it. Biblically, we mortals are locked into time. You are right to say God wouldn't allow it. If He did we could pull the same stuff as Satan. To escape time one must die. A person has to become spiritual in order to exist outside time. When we die there are assigned places for us to go, God will not have us wandering freely or involved with mortals. The dead in Christ are in heaven, but in the lowest heaven, just beyond the clouds. This is where the alter of God is and is in God's presence, but at a distance. In other words, when we, who are in Christ, die we will not stand before the throne. Our bodies sleep and our souls rest under the alter. The souls of the condemned wait in Hades, a spiritual holding place of torment. The body that dies in Christ is sown perishable but at the resurrection it will be raised spiritual, that is imperishable. It will not be subject to time. Time will exist for one thousand years after the resurrection. The descendants of the survivors of the last day will rise up under Satan's deception against Jerusalem. They will be consumed with fire from heaven and then after the second resurrection and judgment the New Jerusalem will descend and time will cease. No aliens in the picture and only immortal humans, angels and God are left.

Your servant,

Randy
