Your question:

Myth Weaver?

What event do the 5 foolish virgins "miss out" on? You ignore so much evidence to conclude in a mid or posttrib rapture it is hard to understand. The "not fitting in a box" can translate to rebellion also. If you want to know the truth, look at what the most Godly pastors you know teach--the Holy Spirit reveals the truth to the Body of Christ. A huge percentage of the body recognizes the pretrib rapture--make sure you aren't scattering. Would God really mislead the spirit-filled born-again believers???

 My answer:

Hi,
Thanks for the e-mail.

You said: What event do the 5 foolish virgins "miss out" on?

My response: they miss entering the kingdom through the resurrection, in other words, the wedding of the true church to their LORD Jesus Christ when he comes.

You said: You ignore so much evidence to conclude in a mid or posttrib rapture it is hard to understand.

My response: Show me the evidence that would support anything other than the last day resurrection Jesus himself spoke of. Shall we ignore him to make this convenient?

You said: The "not fitting in a box" can translate to rebellion also.

My response: Yes it could. Hold me accountable by showing me my rebellion.

You said: If you want to know the truth, look at what the most Godly pastors you know teach--the Holy Spirit reveals the truth to the Body of Christ.

My response: Can't say I know many 'Godly' pastors. The godly men I know would readily agree that the truth is revealed to those who seek it from God, to those who have eyes to see and ears to hear what the Spirit says to the church. Not all that claim to be of the body receive any sort of revelation of truth because they do not love the truth and so are deceived. Why is it so hard to be a Berean? I am amazed at the people who want to set me straight but give little heed to reading the scripture I give on my web site in its proper context. And never do I receive even one verse that supports an opposing position when read in its proper context.

You said: A huge percentage of the body recognizes the pretrib rapture--make sure you aren't scattering.

My response: "Wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing . . ." Matthew 7:13-20

You said: Would God really mislead the spirit-filled born-again believers???

My response: God never misleads anyone, but those with a free will often mislead themselves or allow themselves to be misled by others who are themselves misled. "Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots. Leave them; they are blind guides. If a blind man leads a blind man, both fall into a pit." Matthew 15:13-14

I pray that I have served you well.

In the service of the LORD Jesus,

Randy
