Your question:

Would the Lord God, our creator...leave a select few behind to help during terrible times? Or would he take everyone that is His and condemen the rest of Humanity.

 My answer:

Hi,
Thanks for the e-mail.

You said: Would the Lord God, our creator...leave a select few behind to help during terrible times?

My response: No. Our God is a God of mercy. He will be merciful to all until the last day when He comes. After that He will continue His mercy towards those He has redeemed from His wrath. Because He is just he will condemn those who rebel to the end, He will not have rebellion in His kingdom on earth anymore than in His kingdom in heaven. He who stands firm to the end will be saved. There is no such thing for a Christian or unbeliever, as being 'left behind.' The resurrection (rapture) of the righteous is on the last day of this age. The resurrection of the wicked, the second resurrection, will occur after the thousand year reign of the Messiah.

You said: Or would he take everyone that is His and condemen the rest of Humanity.

My response: Yes. The LORD wants all to come to the saving knowledge and they will when every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that He is LORD. But in this mortal life most of mankind will remain in their rebellion against His kingdom until the last day. Their decisions will exclude them from eternal life. Jesus is the gate into the kingdom. The gate is the resurrection. Only those who believe and obey will enter eternal life through him. The rest of mankind condemns itself. Jesus said four times that He would raise us up on the last day in John chapter 6.

I hope this helps if not let me know.

In the service of LORD Jesus,

Randy
