Randy, I recieved the gift of tongues in 1994,and along with it I was given songs and poetry, and prophecy. The prophecy was that I would be "with the inhabitants of the rock singing" which led me to believe through other scripture, that I would be with the Jews when they witness the abomination of desolation, and flee into the mountains, and that I would be protected there with them. I don't underdstand the time frame of the rapture..but it seems to me if this prophecy is true...that I will have missed the rapture. Am I wrong? I know of no one who is knowledgeable in this area, and when I've tried to discuss it,it gets shrugged off. My mom says it sounds like God is leading me right out onto a battlefield.
I felt called at the age of 14 to support Israel, to fight and die,if necessary. But I wasn't even attending church at that time and have no idea why I felt that way. In 1995 I did student teaching at a nearby Jewish community center, and that is the only contact I have had with the Jews.

 My answer:

Hello,
Thanks for the email.

My response: This is not a familiar prophetic utterance to me, but should you go to dwell in Israel, you would indeed see the abomination that cause desolation and if you resist it you would certainly have to flee the persecution that would follow.

My response: Good news, you are wrong! Jesus said four times in John chapter 6 that he would raise us up on the last day! That means on the day of the second coming which is also known as the day of the LORD and is the last day of this age, Jesus will catch up his own and transform them into spiritual beings who will then precede to escort him back to earth to pour out the wrath of God on the world. The 144,000 'servants of God' will indeed be protected and be transformed on that day. That is the resurrection! The word rapture is really not used appropriately because it is only descriptive of being taken up but doesn't describe the rest of the resurrection.

You wrote: I know of no one who is knowledgeable in this area, and when I've tried to discuss it,it gets shrugged off.

My response: I answer every email and give the knowledge and wisdom to others as God gives it to me. I'm not going to shrug you off if you come to me for help. God has overwhelmed me with understanding of the prophecies, I believe he wants me to teach them to whoever will listen, the resurrection is our salvation and our hope in Christ - it is the essence of the gospel.

You wrote: My mom says it sounds like God is leading me right out onto a battlefield.

My response: For true believers, the whole world will be the battlefield. For the religious the world will change little.

My response: Many are called but few are chosen. If you are chosen you may very well fight and die. The life of a true believer in Jesus Christ will be capture, death or 'on the run' during the desolation (tribulation).

I pray that I have served you well.

In the service of the LORD Jesus,

Randy
