Your email:

Dear Randy;
I have briefly read through your web page and finally found someone that unfortunately thinks like I do. I'm a mother of three children, work full time, but the Spirit of God has been heavily upon me now for past year. Unfortuantely time is my enemy and there are many issues in my life that I'm dealing with, that distracts me from studying the prophecies like I want. Something inside me tells me we are very close to Jesus's return. But when I try to talk about it to others, most people want to change subject. I agree with you that Jesus returns two times and many will fall away, betray each other, and devise their own interpretations that suits their lifestyle and comfort zone. It's not going to be an easy ride. Who wants to go through cancer? But sad fact is people go through cancer, just like sad fact we are going to go through end times. People die all the time. Revelation 14:15-20 haunts me because I feel the harvest time, and the great winepress of the wrath of God is near with War approaching us. My question to you revolves around the traditional 7 year tribulation period. I was under impression the two witnesses would prophesize for 3 and half years, and then antichrist would be revealed and reign for 3 and half years. Could you send me scripture references to clear this up for me? I read things, feel I have understanding, then forget scriptures where I have read it because I'm so busy. You mentioned the antichrist is already on the earth. Do you have any idea who this might be or from what part of the world they are from? Daniel 11:21-23 I interpret is talking about antichrist going into power peacefully with deceit and small group of people. I agree the only ones happy to see God will be those who have endured and waited and didn't fall into traps. I realize you don't know me at all so I would understand if you can't fully disclose all info that has been revealed to you. But as day nears I'm sure more and more will be revealed to those true to him. Take Care and thank you for any info.

 My answer:

Hi,
Thanks for taking the time to e-mail.

My response: You have written wise words. You are right in saying the harvest time is near. People refuse to love the truth and are blinded to it because they fear man and death more than they fear God, so the victory over death will elude them at the resurrection. The delusion God said He would send over the earth because people refused to love the truth is here (2 Thessalonians 2:10-12). Most people will ignore what we have to say from God's word or will become persecutors of the truth in the days to come. My web ministry seems to have become an oasis in a spiritual desert for people who stand firm in the truth. I can joyfully report that seekers who have been taught wrong have come to my site and God used it to set them on the right course of understanding. Each one of us who holds onto the truth must become an oasis of wisdom and encouragement for others. In this way we obey the LORD and prepare each other to stand firm to the end and be saved. Your words show you to be an oasis and have in fact have provided me encouragement - thank you.

My response: Actually, the two witnesses will be prophesying during the second 3 1/2 years of the seven year covenant (Revelation 11:2-3 shows the occupation of Jerusalem for 42 months (3 1/2 years) during which the two witnesses prophesy for 1260 days). This will be during the time of the antichrist. They will start to prophesy when the abomination of desolation takes place. The desolation (tribulation) is actually 3 1/2 years long and not seven. In deed the antichrist will be the one who makes the seven year covenant but the first half will be a peaceful time for Israel (Ezekiel 38:8) while the second half, marked by the abomination that causes desolation, will see the invasion and fall of Israel and world wide persecution of Jews and gentile believers (Daniel 9:27, Ezekiel 38:9-12). The desolation lasts for 1290 days (Daniel 12:11. The 1335 days mentioned in Daniel 12:12 signifies the addition of 45 days in which Judah rebels). This rebellion is the report in 11:44 that the antichrist receives and he sets out in a rage to destroy Jerusalem and the rebellion. He amasses his great armies on the mountains and plains of Israel. Jesus Christ comes on the 45th day, Michael the archangel rises to protect Israel (Daniel 12:1) and Christ pours out wrath on the world and these armies.

You wrote: You mentioned the antichrist is already on the earth. Do you have any idea who this might be or from what part of the world they are from?

My response: I do not know who he is and will not lead believers astray by speculating. He will come from the lands of the former Babylonian empire (Isaiah 14:1-23). But the Bible makes it clear that he will not be revealed until the rebellion occurs (2 Thessalonians 2:3-9). This is why I say that he is present and waiting. Israel is about to rebel against the covenant by giving her covenant lands to her enemies in exchange for a fake peace. This peace will launch the seven years covenant with the antichrist (Daniel 9:27) and will give believers, who have eyes to see, about 3 1/2 years to prepare for unprecedented persecution.

You wrote: Daniel 11:21-23 I interpret is talking about antichrist going into power peacefully with deceit and small group of people.

My response: The antichrist will rise to power in his own circles and will do this by using intrigue and making under the table political agreements. He will, supported by Israel and the world, be enthroned in the temple on Mount Zion. He will then secretly invade Israel and plunder her. He will pay off his political alliances by giving his cronies lands, plunder and titles from Israel's inheritance. Verses 23-24 basically repeat verses 21-22 but give other details.

My response: If you were the devil himself I would disclose the truth as a witness against him. He could not alter the course of events because although he possesses the knowledge of these things he is not indwelt by the Holy Spirit who takes knowledge and produces from it wisdom and understanding for those who live by faith. Ask what you will of me and I will answer according to what the LORD gives me.

I pray that I have served you well.

In the service of the LORD Jesus,

Randy
